Move close to a door and tap the lower-right area of the screen (the Action zone). A faint glow under the door hints at what's inside — red for danger, green for a hostage.
Once you open a green door, the hostage joins a chain behind you. Walk to the EXIT marker to rescue them. You can carry up to 4 at a time.
Stand near a ladder and swipe up or down on the left side of the screen.
